Hi all, im introducing myself, i been reading the forums for months but never actually signed up, so about time i did.
The are so many kits i wanna build i dont no where to start. i think ill start with a tele.
anyway does anyone no where i can get tru oil in melbourne south east, i have looked at a few gun website but cant seam to find any.

Welcome mate, a Tele is a great place to start! Never done one myself, but they gotta be easier than the one I started with (SG twin neck) :P

Hey farnzie, try the gun shop in Clayton, they sell tru oil in small 3oz bottles, one should be plenty for a guitar! If you need help, shoot a message over to me and I might see if I can help, I'm also based out in the SE

Ben,
I used Tung oil instead of tru oil.
It's given it a nice colour and feel , so far.
But I'm just starting into my first build like you.

Welcome to the forums farnzie. I'm just at the tail end of a TLA build so knowledge acquired its still quite fresh(ish) in my mind if you need to tap it!
