    JM-1 Mashup

So I've had this idea in my head for a while (two actually) for some left of centre/slightly modded guitars.

I got two kits to interchange a few of the parts but I’m not going to do both at once.

Both the kits are standard ST-1M and JM-1 kits, the kits will get the necks switched (because I love the look of maple neck Jazzmasters) and the controls from the JM will end up on the ST but that’s just the start.

Looks like some repositioning going on. Are you making a custom pickguard too? Intriguing indeed.

I've been off backpacking so haven't touched this for a little bit.... I did get some noisy bits in the post though.

got sent home from work before lunch today because it flooded.... perfect opportunity to get some work done on this!

sanded back the excess on the wiggle box plug ready for a touch of filler.

annnnd sanded back the front/routed out some new holes, bloody hell basswood stinks to high heaven when you route it :/
