    Use this idea when your polishing frets

    I have metal fretboard protectors and find there too rigid and don't curve to suit the fretboard . So I started using this method using masking tape,saves you having to mask the whole fretboard . Just move it down as you go

    How about a bit of the lid of an ice cream container, not tried it but I reckon it would do the trick

    Or how about the sides of a yoghurt container? You know the left over bit after cutting the bottom out to put your Dingo Tone in?
