    Jacks JM-1 first build

    G'day
havent documented the entire thing with pictures seeing as Ive just been getting down to business but these are the pictures as to where I am now...

    so far it has had:
a very good sand (up to 800)
4 coats of primer - another 3 on headstock
4 coats of colour - another 3 on headstock

I am awaiting on a pinup decal for the body to arrive so i can continue onto the clear coating

Hi Jack, welcome to the forum! Resize your photos so that they fit under the 1MB limit and try that, it should work! Another option is to use an image hosting site like Imgur and use the [IMG] tags (Imgur provides the tags in one of the boxes when they upload) to post directly to the text.

    welcome to the forum Jack.
Sounds like you have made good progress on the JM-1 build.
    Looking forward to seeing pictures.
If you are still having trouble uploading them, resize them to maximum 800 x 800 pixels

Thanks heaps guys! so rad that you appreciate it!

so today like i said gave it a nice light wetsand
chucked the decal down (an am stoked at how it came out)
and put a coat of lacquer on the body as a practice until i buy more

the neck is now done, just have to let it sit and cure proper
gloss on head stock, satin on the playing area of the neck the gloss around the bottom joint
and yes i know the peace logo looks crummy but thats kinda the point haha, I think it gives it a real DIY kinda vibe (which is very fitting seeing as its my first build)

but so far im absolutely chuffed

Looking great Jack! The colour is awesome. Can't go past a good seafoam green myself and it really suits the red pickguard.
Will be great to see when the gloss develops! Great job.

    cheers,
    Gav.
