Hey guys. Said goodbye to my first today. :'( In a somewhat impulsive move, I traded my TL-1 (GOTM Dec 2012) for an already built EX-1 with the intention of modding and refinishing.
The existing finish is pretty rough, but there's some interesting bits of basswood evident. And then there's this guy
which is a shame, but not a deal breaker.
The guy I got it off told me the neck was glued with pva, so I was considering resetting the neck, but then...
So, yeah, neck is coming off. Yay.

Don't know yet, Stan. To be honest, I never really felt at home on that guitar. Looked nice, played great, but the neck was all wrong for me. Plus, I've got another tele in the works and I've got too many guitars already.

Should look good when you're all finished with it. Where does it say in the rule book you have to keep every guitar anyway, sheesh I've only got 1 electric at the moment.
