What should be done after lacquer?

Hey lads, first forum post here

Working on my second build, first was a tele (that I'm not exactly happy with, but I'm sure looks nice to someone)

Anyway, just wondering what steps should be taken after applying the final poly coat?

I'm thinking using some car polish and buffing is a nice approach.

    Cheers!

Just make sure you allow it to cure! At least 2-3 weeks in this colder weather
