    2015 Limited Edition Fender Telecaster

Got a very interesting email from wokka today...

Fender have announced a new Telecaster today, only 10 in Australia! This Telecaster is very damn sexy, dual humbuckers, Gibson style block inlays, olympic white finish and a nice Strat style hardtail bridge.

I'll repeat it again, only TEN guitars being sold in Australia, so if you want one, please consult your nearest Minister for War and Finance for the money...

    What is the price tag?
    $3,299RRP...

I will try to get down to Sky Music on Saturday and see if they have it and I might throw up a demo clip of this wonderful guitar.

good one Pest posting this, should raise some interest from the Tele napper !
Would be nice if the factory could do a F type paddle neck with block inlays. I'd love to build something like that

Really scratching my head over the price tag on that guitar. What makes it so goddang expensive? As far as I can tell, the block inlays seem to account for 20% of the cost. Hmmm.

Limited edition Pabs, only 10 in Oz, if it were a full production model it wouldn't be that much more than a standard Tele.

'Limited Edition' is such a scam. These spec out identically to a standard american HH tele apart from the blocks and are $700 more expensive. For the extra minute (probably less) the neck spent on the CNC. Wow, as Wokka said, $2k for the logo. I think that's understating it somewhat.

Yeah that is true, I'd just get a standard HH Tele, or even a Squire!

Once again, Fender are treating people with contempt.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

would be a nice kit mod though.

Gibson and Fender are resting a lot on past performance lately

Epiphone and Squire are getting better with their guitars recently!
