Thunderbolt can handle up to 20 gigabytes of data a second .
Pcie on pcs can handle 80 gigabytes a second and Pcie is approx 7 years old
Just shows you the benefit of advertising .
PCI-e is always awesome anyway but TB does have the advantage of having a daisy chain of devices instead of one device per slot so both have their advantages
Yea the only problem I find with that is the ext items with thunderbolt on need to have in and out sockets on which most don't which is really annoying
