    Guy uses bone for saddles in his Tuneomatic Bridge or Did He ?

    See pics I wonder how this will standup to intonation and it is April 1st

    Mother of Pearl works for me so I don't see why bone wouldnt work as saddles...
    You can actually get the intonation spot on with minimal fuss, get it close as and then a swipe with a jewellers file to get it dead on

    Cool the thing I was thinking about was the thread crumbling running through the saddles .

    Good point, perhaps he strengthened the threads with thin CA glue?

    I'd love bone saddles! As DB always says (even though I haven't heard it in a while, ironic hey?) Bone for Tone!

    I think I've seen I guy do something similar, but he had hardwood saddles with bone inserts where the strings rest.
