Telecaster style with a twist :)

Thought I might do something a little different, a Tele style with a neck break angle.....

This one is made up out of a body blank that had a few routing injuries... Hence the different shape to the upper bout.

Made another boo boo when routing the binding channel.. The workaround?
Rout it out and add Iroko binding, blue perloid purfling strip and finally red pearloid bindings.

Lets see how it turns out.

Can't wait to see how this progresses! I love pretty much anything Tele.

Guess you should be glad I don't live over there! Ads and I could "fight" over them..hehehe

IF this winter ever ends and the temps get above the teens my first build on here will be a custom hollow body Tele with Piezo under bridge pup and a single coil lipstick tube.

Here's a mockup of what the outside will look like. I want it to be a really clean look.
It's gonna have a Sitka Spruce Soundboard but I want to try and not have binding on it if I can get away with it.

Oh nice idea both DB and Rob!
DB, going for a TOM bridge or standard Tele?

I don't think a Tele style bridge would work in this case pest.
