    Gypsy

The wait is over, Gypsy lives.

Double Cut Junior with a set neck

Finshed in Carmine Gypsy Wudtone with Wudtone aged tint gloss
Scratch plate and labels deliberately left off to give it that minimalist look.
large CTS pots used in the electrics with large .023 uF cap, pushback shielded cloth wire used to jack, covered with shrink wrap to prevent those anoying shorts.

There have been several delays along the way in this build but in the end she is a sweet little guitar.

nice build PK, it's been a while since your last entry ? Good work getting February rolling and you have got through all the issues of this build.
They really are a minimalist axe, especially without the pickguard but might as well show off the nice grain.
You need to post a close up photo PK.
I'll enjoy sitting back this month, not rushing to finish any builds and judge, hopefully it's an easier month to judge - yeah right !

The grain is very subtle and hard to get the pics to show it as you would see it with the naked eye. it has a very warm and subtle
    ambiance

nice one PK they are much better photos. Was this a custom order PK as I can't see a set neck DC junior in the PBG website ?
I think there's a good chance Gav's DC will be entered soon too !

Thanks Wokka. yes this is a special order.
Yeah I've seen Gav's DC's. they're very nice in butterscotch with a nice 'Pretty' shine.

    Cheers PK

Really nice work, PK ... clean, simple, no frills and ready to kick-arse - everything a good rock guitar should be!

Wait a minute ... that sounds like Rock and/or Roll!

SG-1 ... "Little Miss" finished in Flamenco Cherry Wudtone
TL-1A ... "Slugger" finished in Antique White Nitro
EX-1 ... "Metal God" finished in nickel-plate (work in progress)
ST-1A ... "Scrapper" stained and finished in linseed oil ... and with the "secret weapon"
GR-1SF ... "Rocker-billy" (just arrived, work in progress)
