Filling hole used for spray hook

    Fellow luthier enthusiasts,

I have watched a few youtube clips where guitar builders screw in a decent hook where the strap pin would screw in for the purpose of suspending the guitar for spraying. Does anyone else do this, it appeals to me and I would like to do it? However, what do they use to fill it prior to putting a strap pin in there?

    Cheers.

Why not use a hook that doesn't require the diameter of the hole to be reduced in order to install the strap button?
