    Cool Hi All

    Its David here from Cairns in north QLD. Have been interested in building a kit guitar for a while, researching, etc and finally bought a Pitbull LP-1M last month. It's my first build and has become an obsession :-)

    I was going to do a build diary, but with 5 children keeping me busy, I have spent many late nights sanding, etc and not taking any photos. At the stage now where I am putting on a finish/cut & polish then install hardware. Once guitar is complete i might enter it in guitar of the month for Dec if I get it done in time.

    your build sounds like it's turned out well, the forum needs pictures, look forward to seeing the finished product.
    Be good to hear what finish and hardware you have used
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Welcome to the forum! Kids do make it hard that's for sure. Looking forward to seeing a photo of the finished axe - the LP1-M is a great kit. Sounds like you're on top of the build.
