    ASH, my entry for December.

Ash wasn't quiet finished for entry last month so may as well be the first for December.

Finished in "Golden Oak" stain (on an ash body and top), with 3 coats of shellac and two coats of polyurethane. The guitar is heavier that I expected it to be. Weighing in at 9 pounds14 once, I have no interested in having a guitar that is heavier than this.

The electrics were a bit of trouble to get correct, but, all working now, a little amplifier hum, but not enough to worry about.

PS>Just discovered the hum, the Black ice, in off position and tone in the centre position. I will add an earth to the switch body, that may be the answer for that.
