Thread: Mini kits

    If possible id like to get a mini version (say 1/2 size guitar kit with one pup and a tom bridge) to make for my son. If possible how much?

    Barry you should buy a 3/4 size ST-1 should do the trick. How old is your son ?

    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Might be a bit big for him. He just turned 1. But loves to play on my guitars. .
    A mini axe would make a great Xmas pressie for him

    You're right though Gav they're the logical first step into the world of musical instruments. I can remember having one as a wee tacker, both my kids had them from the earliest age and the beauty is they can swing em round with minimal danger to themselves or the errr.... dog.
    This might just be the perpetual safety officer coming out in me but I could see someone getting hurt with a solid body mini gat, especially if it had steel strings.
