Due to sad times , cthulhu has been put on hold.
so the only thing to do is to order a new kit.
    Enter NEVRMORE
As per usual the kit arrived looking great.
everything that's to be kept fits well and looks sweet
The speed humps might stay on this one
the bridge will go and be replaced with a Schaller
Machine heads will be changed as well
And I will swap out the nut for a bone nut
Hoping to do this in Dingotone.. hint hint DB
Also my first kit with the paddle head so am busy designing a new head shape ,thinking 3&1

Looks great Tim! So, no scratch plate? I really like the look like that - it never occurred to me! Great stuff. Will be watching with keen interest...

    cheers,
    Gav.

LOL been re reading some of the classics over the past 2 years, hence the Lovecraft and now the Poe inspired builds. God knows whats coming next as I am reading Jules Verne at the moment.

Any way had a somewhat successful day in the shed today with head stock shaping and hole plugging.
Going to stick with the 3&1 tuner configuration.
Will let the plugs dry for abit then will start the new hole drilling and the sanding process

    UNLEASH THE NUT

Time to get some nut work going on
Again I am going to get rid of the plastic nut
and put in a new bone nut.
As I did with MIDNIGHT I stained the nut
But this time I used TEA
Happy with the results ,now just got to start filing into shape
