I just took delivery of the Mosrite Ventures II axe and am very happy with the neck fit is tight as and can't see any obvious glue or filling.
So will start sanding over the next few days and experimenting with white paints.
Thanks Gav T for making the special order and thanks Ads for ordering a spare one of these kits. Can't wait to see how it looks with a coat of white paint.
Planning to upgrade the pickups too

@ Pablo I won't be rushing this build, and only really get a chance to spray paint on weekends with the winter weather. I got enough other current builds to keep me busy !

finally got off my backside on this project and finished sanding, got a primer coat on and yesterday 1st topcoat on the body
Got a blackheart sassafras veneer on the headstock and happy how it looks. The grain goes pretty well with the headstock shape. Bit more shaping and sanding of the neck.
Of course some wet sanding to do on the body
