Thread: Introduction before I bombard questions

  1. #1
    Hi

My name is Stuart and I currently building my first kit - an ST-1 that I got in the Easter sale. I thought it would be polite to introduce myself before I launch into asking a bunch of questions. I am enjoying the process immensely at the moment and am already planning my next 3, or is that 4, builds.

By the way, my forum name - twins4me - is a name I have used previously on motorcycle forums and refers to my engine configuration preferences, not some fetish for sisters! Thought I should just clear that up in advance.

    Stuart.

Hi Stuart. You sure it's about motorbikes? Just asking.
Anyway, welcome to the forum. I hope you have a lot of fun building your ST, ask as many questions as you like and keep us up to date with lots of posts.

Welcome Stuart, it's ok, guitars, motorbikes and dogs are recurrent themes on our humble Forum. Feel free to post any pics and specs of any of these.

Here's some token shots of my new girl, all naked and wet.

    Cheers,

    Adam

Holy crap. Adam, that is a beautiful piece of machinery.

Edit: Sorry, I was distracted. Hi Stuart.

Hey Ads. It's only got one seat. No twins for you then.

Oh yes it is PabloPepper, I'm still in awe of its magnificence. I ride it every day and every time I get on or off it I have to stand back and admire it.

Lawry, it did come with the pillion seat, two panniers and a full screen (LT = light tourer). But I really like the stripped down look. I can put on the extras when I go touring (or find someone willing to try out the pillion seat).
    Cheers,

    Adam

And sorry Stuart for hijacking your welcome thread... I think it's your turn for show and tell. Lets see what axes or bikes or dogs make you happy.
    Cheers,

    Stuart.
Howsit Stu, good luck on the first (second, third, etc) build man, take your time an it will come out wicked, there's more than enough collective knowledge in this forum to assist you in every aspect of the build so no excuses for a half ass job lol.
@Adz, nice ride man, very "Fatboy" esque.
