A sad loss today a legend of Australian rock Doc Neeson of the Angels lost his battle with a brain tumour. He will finally catch up with his mate Bon Scott.
The Angels were a big part of my music growing up.
Here's a classic video in about 1976 where Doc played bass - and a nice Ricky !
Just realised there's a playlist of 9 songs so pull the menu down top left of the screen to choose a track

RIP Doc. A true legend and classic front man.

As a teenager in the 80s, my bands repertoire included a bunch of great Angels songs and of all the songs I still remember how to play, the Angels ones are still some of the most fun for me.

    Vale, Doc.....

Many fond memories of my misspent youth in the 80's... No way get #*%$@d %#$k off!

Saw the Angels at the Bidgeway in adelaide many many years ago. Still one of the best shows I have ever seen. RIP Doc.

I was lucky enough to see the Angels about 12-15 times - venues like Perth Entertainment centre, The Raffles Hotel, few other Perth pubs and some concert festivals. Every show was so awesome. Will be playing an Angels youtube marathon on 4D Friday !

Very sad news. We have lost one of aussie rock's true icons.

Very sad to hear about this, the Angels were great IMO, some very good songs were written by Doc...
