I am really going to be keeping tabs on your learnings with this BG. I've always been amazed by this thing but I only have four fingers and one thumb on each hand and they don't always do as they're told. I am pleased for you!

So it's a bass/guitar one. Not a bass/bass one. So are you just spending every free moment watching Nick Begg, Tony Levin or Trey Gunn on Youtube trying to work out what you can do with it?

Watching/listening to those chaps, and Greg Howard, Steve Adelson and Rob Martino. Plus I am doing something I have never done before with a new piece of gear- reading the manual.

It's going to take a while to get used to it. Physically it's a very odd instrument- weighs quite a bit, the pickup is highly sensitive, and cannot be played whilst wearing tracksuit pants. I discovered this to my peril last night...

Reading the manual? Are you feeling OK. there Bassguy?...... When I told Miss Fe you were reading a users manual her response was "bloody hell, is he turning into a girl"?

I flummoxed about for five minutes, and then thought "nope, need the book!"
