Thread: Flamed/quilted maple strat/tele?

  1. #1
Would be nice to see some flamed/quilted maple tops on strats and teles, esp with gold hardware. Mmm...

Man. Don't they all belong in the Beautiful Guitar thread!
I scored myself a Schecter Tele the other day that has gorgeous grain. A local 'open' music group disbanded and they're selling off all their gear. I bought this thinking I would strip it back and mod it etc. However, the condition is excellent and the action is soooo low. Plus it has Duncan Designed pups and came with the hard case. I ain't touching it. Bargain for $150.00!

What a steal Loz. The case alone is almost worth that.
I don't think anyone in their right mind would pass up that deal!

I would also like to try a quilted maple finish.
Have been eyeing off this strat for a while now, it's part of the Fender Select Series.
Love the quilted maple. This is so simple, but so classy. Love it!
Would probably be right up your alley too Wokka?

That's classy. It looks sorta like a caramel to toffee burst.
