Hi wiring gurus out there, I have a question please.
for my scratch build I have 2 coil splittable humbuckers, and my control cavity only has room for a 3 way switch and 2 pots. I was going with a 1 vol/1 tone setup.
My question is can one push pull volume pot split both humbuckers or do I need a push pull pot for each humbucker and this would mean 2 volumes and no tone ?

cheers, I'm keen to order the push pull pots today

Alternatively - drop the 3 way - use the hole instead for another Vol push / pull - then you could have 2 vol push pulls, one tone standard... Could wire it like a Jazz Bass with the push pulls just splitting / non split.

thanks Brendan and Scott, I had a quick convo with Lozza and thats what I've decided, I've ordered some push pull pots so I'll do the volume splits one humbucker and tone splits the other option. I wasn't sure if this was possible.
That way I can split them independently

Or you could simply drop the tone.... Who uses tone control on their Guitar any way? especially with parametrics and EQ built into most amps these days...

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

+1 on the six way. Its a great way to do all the fancy coil splits, out of phase, etc with limited space.
