Thread: TL-1TB

Hi Guys I have now got to the stage of fitting the trem arm, are there any instructions or templates as to the distance for the arm to be set away from the bridge or do I gauge the distance from the tone control?

    Cheers,

    Peter

Hey Pedro, I see you found your way to the right thread. I assume you're asking about the stoptail/trem arm unit supplied with that kit and what distance it should be behind the bridge/saddles.

I think the answer is that it's not important, you should go with a distance that looks good and doesn't put too much angle on the strings. Check out Dingobass's TL-1TB build as a good example.

Hey Adam, do you have the order that the trem arm metal and fabric washers sit on the arm, as mine have separated from the nut.

I don't Pedro, but I'm sure Dingobass posted a photo of the order somewhere... didn;t he email it to you?

If you wan5 to take a photo of the parts I'm sure the members can walk you through it.

    Cheers,

    Adam
