    WhooHooo!
actually never veneered anything in my life, but here goes, my ant inspector has a family that are into building wood furniture, and he noticed I was into guitars and his son is also into them as he is doing a degree in music.. put him onto pitbull and he got a kit that they now have almost completed. so he comes to do an inspection and rolls out these veneers and says help yourself to whatever you like..so I say a piece of that would be nice ..he says take the whole 2 meters of it! COOOOOOL!
its a man made product and is very exciting in what it looks like!
    takes dyes very well!

Wow... Looks nice. I wonder how it will affect the tone?
Cant wait to see and possibly hear a Guitar with this veneer on.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    hehe thanx gents..
most probably the most unacoustic pine wood pulp....the pressed really flat and made nice and hard..so has some hope of being nice...I think its up to how you glue that whole area down for proper good acoustic producing waveforms..but hey on an electric hmmm may not even be a factor with my valve preamped digital sound systems..we will see in th enot too distant future...came home with a few goodies today.. to do some buildings!

yes that one is.. got 2 ..one is so good its a very small boat oar , never to be used as a neck ever unless you can get the 1st 3 strings to bend down a further 5 mm from the 12th hahaha offered to send it back...he didnt want it back!
the others are korean and i chose them out of a stack to get the best ones! 2 where screwed to blank guitars so took them off,
all the stuff is middle of the road choice so not cheap but not a kick in the nuts either
