Thread: Posting Photos on the Forum

  1. #1
We get asked this question regularly, so, here's how you can post photos on the Forum.

    Method One (the easy way).

When you select "Reply", "New Topic", or "Quote" function, a text box will appear, where you type your post. At the bottom left of the text box you will see 3 image links labelled "Choose File".

Just click on one of these, browse for your image and click ok.

    It's that easy.

NOTE: THIS OPTION DOES NOT WORK ON "SUBMIT QUICK REPLY"

    Cheers,

    Adam

    Method Two

If you have issues using the Reply function or you want to post more than the 3 photos that you are allowed by that method, you can use a third party image hosting site and post image links. Here's how to do that.

First, find an image hosting site. Flickr is an image hosting site. The one I use is www.imgur.com.

You don't need to make an account there, just go to www.imgur.com and click on the "Upload Images" link at the top. Select the image from your computer and click start upload. When the image has been uploaded you will get your links. Copy the BBCode link (for message boards and forums). Make sure the link ends in ".jpg"

Now, you are ready to paste it into a comment on the Forum.

Start a New Topic or Reply or even Quick Reply. Type your comment and, when you want to insert an image, just paste the link you copied from Imgur.

And, it will appear in your post as the image you uploaded:

Repeat as many times as you like.

    Cheers,

    Adam
