Thread: EX-1 Silver over Black

  1. #1
Here it is my EX-1 silver over Black, used polyurethane lacquers for the finish then I used a deluxing compound followed by oil free Cut & Polish. I swapped the pickups for Pickups I pulled out of a damaged Gibson SG along with the 3 way switch and pots.

Really nice work Josh and I got your email for the next GOTM Comp, which will actually be February (we're judging January now).

it sounds awesome, its got the clean sound you would expect from an original Gibson and the body is so light and nimble it resonates great and is a dream to play...... I highly suggest getting on ebay and finding damaged/unrepairable guitars you can pick up cheap and salvage the pups, switches and pots to use in your pitbull guitar kit
