OK Guy's thought I would share what I have done up to now and up date it as I go.
first of all the filler primer.
Then the mid night Black water based colour.
painted pearl white around the body.
Airbrushed some Ace playing cards in for it's theme name of Ace's High.
finished with a silver Hot Rod sparkle in the clearcoat.
and three coats of 2PK clear.
meanwhile the neck is getting Natural Wudtoned.
pots and switch have been changed out to Fender.
Pickups will be changed out to Fender Texas specials.
and a new pearl white scratch plate has just arrived.
I see that looking at other peoples awsome builds my paint work may not be to everyone's liking but hey I love it

Amazing work Jarrod! Totally awesome - I love it!
The airbrush work is very cool and the sparkle tint in the clear really finished it off nicely.
Would love to see it with the new scratchplate.

    Cheers,
    Gav.

Jarrod, that looks magnificent. I can just imagine it being played in a smokey gambling bar with everyone wearing a dark suit and Stetson. Only problem I see with it is that there are only four aces. The guy I play poker with usually has more than that ;-)
    It looks great man.

How can that not be to anyone's liking. It's fantastic.

That's some great airbrush work. I'd love to try my hand at airbrushing one day. More so for simple burst finishes, I don't think I could ever do anything like your aces though.

    Top stuff.
