Ahhh, the 80s. Where the world suddenly thought that we could ditch all the "real" instruments and get by with synthesisers, samplers and sequencers. Yeah, I remember these, and the keytar.

I went through a whole Jean-Michel Jarre period in the 80's, probably why I took so long to come around to playing guitar! Here he is explaining all the synthesisers he used on Oxygene. Moderately interesting!
