That grain is just insane...looking great Wokka.
Interesting how the darker ash is turning it more green.
Wonder if the blue will come through with more coats?

Lookin good Wokka. The grain is popping nicely and will look even sweeter when the colour deepens!

    Cheers.

Hey Wokka. Man that looks good. I've got a question for you. I'm on my second build but neither of them have had the grain pop out like this. Looking at some other builds I see stunningly strong grain too (eg Tim's Cthulu). Is that because of the timber type or is there something else you do first to accentuate it?

It looks like a watermelon in the first pic! Yum!

    But very nice grains!

@ Lawry --> its the ash bodies that make the grain really pop, you built a RC-1 didn't you, which is basswood has a much more subtle grain that doesn't pop any where near as much. What model kit is your second build ? I'm just using the Pit Bull sandpaper 180, 220 and 240 grit before wudtoning and giving it a light steel wool 0000 fine between coats.
@ SimpleOne --> haha yes is does look like a watermelon, maybe that will be the guitars name if it remains green after more azure coats !
