Hi forumites, I was lucky enough to play a red special original, the one I played 2 years ago, not too many people will be lucky enough to see one let alone play one. This was number 64 built October 2005

That's one mighty fine guitar Wokka
Kudos to you Woks ... truly a legendary axe! ... an experience that has to rank right up there with something like "getting to hold Excalibur"
(I know I'm green with envy!)
Wait a minute ... that sounds like Rock and/or Roll!
SG-1 ... "Little Miss" finished in Flamenco Cherry Wudtone
TL-1A ... "Slugger" finished in Antique White Nitro
EX-1 ... "Metal God" finished in nickel-plate (work in progress)
ST-1A ... "Scrapper" stained and finished in linseed oil ... and with the "secret weapon"
GR-1SF ... "Rocker-billy" (just arrived, work in progress)
Woks, what's with the pizza boxes in the background - I thought you were self sufficient in that way .

Why would you want to waste time cooking when you need to spend time playing a rare axe?/<\\/p>[]<\\/p>/Quote from Brendan on September 30, 2013, 23:31

Haha my last night in Melbourne after grand final we had a jam and couldn't be bothered cooking. I also got to play a nice Fender jazz bass too had no idea they had such a narrow neck!
