this is for a non Pitbull build i want to start , ive got a bass neck ( mmm Wenge 8-) ) and i wanna make a new body for it and reuse the hardware , BUT i want to run 3 pickups .
my question to any one that knows is this
the generic preamp im looking at has the 3 tones i want ( bass /mid/treble) a volume and a mixer ,
CAAAANNNN i chop the mixer off ( which on this particular preamp i dare say is where the pickups are soldered to and limits me to only 2 pups ) , and replace it with a triple switched set up for my 3 pickups , with out the whole thing turning to a smoking ruin
ive looked around the net , but couldnt find anything :?
