Thread: 1b- 1 wiring diagram

  1. #1
    Hello guys.
I am building my first kit, the 1B-1 with the lovely dragon fretboard and am chasing a wiring diagram for it. Looks the same as the SV-1.
Can someone please help me out here.
My next 2 kits are also on order. The sgd-612-electric-guitar-kit-double-neck and the ES-1G.
Looking forward to the finished products.
    Regards, Michael

It is the same, not sure if Brendan has done a diagram for this one yet.
If you are stuck try www.guitarelectronics.com

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Michael - no wiring diagram from me yet, but try this one:

My 2c for now - looking at the Guitar Electronics one (http://www.guitarelectronics.com/med...hsh5l11_01.jpg), it's working on humbuckers with split coils, which from memory, the PBG ones aren't. If you use the Seymour Duncan one, ignore the red and white wires that are joined - this has already been done inside the humbucker for you.

If you are doing an IB-1, you simply have to coil split......maybe not if it's your first build!

Otherwise grab yourself a pair of coil splittable pickups - cheapest I've found without going Chinese is something like this:
