Thread: ES kit pickup cavity shielding?

  1. #1
Nearly finished the painting stage of my ES-1GT....
Just wondering whether I now need to shield the pickup cavities?
What did you other guys who have built an ES kit do?

Go for it! You can never have enough shielding.....

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    hi Andy,

I shielded my pickup cavities, and used shielded cable from Stewmac between pots and out to the jack.

    Have fun!

    Cheers,
    Gavin.
