Hey guys, I want to get a nice sunburst for a friend who is building a violin, but what inner colour can I use to match the usual violin colour?
Cheers,
Pest

Pest. post a photo of a violin with the colour you are trying to achieve.
Have a look on google images
presume you are looking at an amber or mahogany colour. What outer colour are you planning ?
Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck
Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in
BMW as the outer, maybe i can try a combo like:
Mahogany - BMW
I'd be tempted to choose Hot Auburn for the inner colour...
