    Hi all,
this has been a long project, started as a lump of oak I found on a verge covered in ugly green lead paint, and this is what turned out. It's the thickness and weight of a Les Paul and early test play it sounds good. I just used the neck and hardware from a PBG SG-1F kit. It's my 1st scratch body glue in neck so nervous moments getting the neck glued in the right position !
I gave the body heaps of curing time between gloss coats and the finish is quite glossy.

    Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

here's 2 more pics, the control cavity isn't the same shape as the cover provided so I'll cut one to suit. Wiring of a single neck SG is about 200 times easier than a double neck SG !!
