Finished the Flying V, so I decided to get started on the bass I had sitting around.
Slightly more familiar territory as I have been a four-stringer for a few years now.
Once again I'm going carmine gypsy, with original vintage yellow neck.
I have started sanding but I'm having problems with glue seepage at the bottom of the bass
where the pieces of the body are joined. Will post pics tonight.

DB, I'm guessing the solution is more sanding?

No, solution is to check out the build thread and pay particular attention to the section on removing the #$&% glue!

Ahh the wire brush, greatest weapon In the eternal battle against glue,
That's cool, I'm stopping at the b word this evening to pick up a new vice, some brushes may
be in order. Btw, the stikit sandpaper from stewmac is the best thing since sliced bread, it's saved me
    a lot of cursing today.

    Tristan,
Sounds great - red on the PB-4 looks fantastic (speaking from experience!)...

Tristan, I agree, the stikit papers are great for this work!! Gav even sticks some to his finger and uses it to polish his frets after a level!
