    Hi all, got a bit closer to bolting together an old project, triple burst chunky SG with any luck this axe will sound half as good as it looks!! Ride on Angus!! Mahogany, carmine and golden rod, 3 of wudtone's finest colours


    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Man, that looks stunning now- a triple burst will be outrageous.

    here's a few build photos of this axe, believe it or not I found this lump of wood on a verge collection and it was covered in green lead paint, was a swine to clean up but underneath all that gross paint was a gold mine

    Guitar looks cool just as it is

    Will you need to de-glaze it to apply the 'burst colours?

    Max, the burst is already done, it's subtle, I've spent about 5 weeks with the gloss coats giving it heaps of curing time, so will run with it as it is
