Thread: Great for planning your next build

I think this is the best place to post this, I wasn't sure, i kind of falls into the category of software

Its a custom guitar designer that covers every visible part of a guitar. eg. timber, paint, pickups and hardware

Just make sure that you scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Kisekae VIM System" section.

    http://www.yajimastringworks.com/tct...-kisekae-e.asp

I have been using this for years to plan out any custom work or mods I was doing. It's a really good way to plan out colour schemes and I think it may work really well for planning your next Wudtone based paint job especially because you can control the level of paint opacity.

I will say though, the format of the program has changed sine I last used it

Had a quick play - looks quite useful, though a bit short on basses .

Yep. Just had a quick look, I think this could come in handy.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Hell yeah! This is a great tool! I think I might have just redesigned my bass.

    Hi,
this is a great tool. I just received my PBH4 bass and was playing around, am proposing finishing it in cherry flamenco, the scratchplate is a bit lighter than the one shown and the PBH has 4 control knobs. Also not sure if I will colour the headstock

    Sanding starts tonight !
    Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks

    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in
