Thread: Hello from the Upper Hunter

  1. #1
    Hi All,
Big Steve from the Upper Hunter here, just thought that I'd introduce myself after lurking here for sometime.

I'd been looking at the Pitbull site for a while after finding it when Google searching for left handed guitar kits. I had been seriously considering ordering a SV-1L kit. The day i finally decided to pull the trigger, I clicked on the left handed kits tab and lo and behold, there was something that got me far more exited...the EX-1L kit.

I have been wanting an Explorer for sometime, the only problem was that they are hard to find left handed.

So now I play the waiting game. Hopefully I will soon have a nice new EX-1L kit and some Black magic woman Wudtone with satin finish on my door step.

Hi Adam, that's awesome, on a somewhat related note, do you know what the fretboard radius is on the EX-1's?

    Hi Steve

We have just completed (well 80%-completed) a manual on building the guitars to go along with the video's!

It can be found here: The page opens at the end of the thread so you will need to go to page 1! Thanks

Steve, I believe all our kits have a radius of 12", but someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
    Cheers,

    Adam

Thanks for the quick response Adam. I thought it might be easier to just ask, as opposed to waiting and measuring.

Yep, all our kits are 12" radius.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
