Thread: Humbucker mounting rings..arched, low and a high?

  1. #1
Im after some guidance on what to purchase as far as pup rings go.

Ive ordered and LP-1 kit and im wanting a little more chrome bling.

Just to confirm... i need a low and a high with an arched bottom?

Also, are the jack plates that come in the kit plastic or metal?

    Cheers

and yes...build thread will be happening

Yep, high and low arched pup rings are right.

The jack plate is metal, but if you are getting bling for the pups I would get a matching bling jack plate as well!

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    Agree with DB,

The jack plate is a little on the thin side so an upgrade is cheap enough and worth investing in. While you are at it the LP switch is also yellow.....you might want to do something here too.

Sorry, my bad. I meant the switch..

Good to know though...seems like a good place for more parts.

Also, is there anywhere that i can get a set of black covers as well? Not fussed about the pick guard, wont be using that unless i can find a black one.

    Cheers

If you want to bling your switch, there are customizable ones on eBay, or you can get some really cool ones from Hell Guitars too. www.hellguitars.com
