A semi-bucker??

Not really, mainly a new design, I doubt it would dramatically change the tone, yet there's a chance it might... These customs will also have custom covers!Quote from Bass Guy on March 26, 2013, 16:57
A semi-bucker??
Here's some I prepared earlier. =)
Fender used these In some Tele's.
Pest you need to somehow get PCG over as much hardware as you can - Pest Custom Guitars !
I'm not a fan of non symmetrical humbuckers, you either have 6 screws or none in my opinion

Call it a triple stagger. It's probably been done before aswell.
man i am liking the new ,, Lace Alumitone Humbucker Pickups
- Replacement for standard size humbucker
- Available in - silver, gold, blue, pink, green & red colours plus bling & country motifs
The first pickup from this century. Huge top and bottom end. Huge passive design. The coolest looking pickup available.
This radical departure from pickup design is aluminum based, rather than copper. Result: less resistance, higher output coupled to a "current driven design" as opposed to conventional voltage based pickups.
The aluminum water jet cut exoskeleton is then matted to a micro winding using 90% less fine copper wire, a low impedance/high impedance pickup is then created.
very kool -- but runs about $350 a pair also available in single coil double rail and there split coil !!!!!
Yeah they are some sweet looking pups. And the tech behind them is very cool.
From what I've heard from them they sound ok. Great for metal but the cleans sound a little sterile. Just from the few YouTube clips I've seen, most clips were using tons of distortion though. So it's hard to tell.
