you might want to change the subject title to March 2013 ! easy mistake. Glad you were impressed with the flying V, I'm happy with the setup without needing much tweaking.
Here's another photo of the Flying V with his good mate pine solid body 2 in columbian gold just got gold highlights lastnight
Best of luck to all other March 2013 GOTM entries

This could be a bit of a tough one! They both have colours that totally suit them!
Just for clarification, the GOTM will be judged on a series of photos of each guitar submitted, not just the single photos posted in this thread.

Is that a sound hole routing template you are seating the SG on???Quote from Gavin1393 on March 4, 2013, 14:59

Haha, no, it's actually a sheet of perspex that I was using to keep the guitar of the grass!
The perspex used to operate as a barrier between my compressor and the dust flying around my 3x3 shed.....but since getting a proper Humidity room where the compressor now lives, and the dust extractor, the perspex is slowly being turned into multiple templates for headstocks and boards for completing the electrics on!!

Gavin where did you get the Gibson sticker on the headstock, is that just a clear stick on label ?Quote from keloooe on March 4, 2013, 16:18

Bought some clear transfer paper from a crowd over east, scoured Google for some half decent logo's, printed them on my inkjet and then used an acrylic varnish to seal and waterproof the transfers.
I figure that since these are all for my own collection that Gibson and Co. wont mind since I'm not making money off their coat-tails!!
