This was my first project, i bought this kit about a year ago not from pitbull guitars though. I found the pitbull guitars website and got inspired to start working on it again, used the pitbull guitars painting method which worked quite well. I'm happy with the finish. All the instructional videos were very helpful thank you Adam. I have just bought a TL-1 kit which I will start immediately and cannot wait to put it together.
That paint job turned out excellent, you can see reflections of the chrome work in it.
Will be interested to see what you can achieve with the new one

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

For the TL-1 i wasn't sure whether i wanted to paint it or stain it, ive always wanted a butterscotch tele but the wood grain on the particular isnt the best so ive decided to paint it a white gloss with black pick guard. I've seen that there is a new TL-1 kit that comes with an alder body which i think will look amazing with a yellow wudtone finish so i must have that one

The TL-1B has a flame maple top...
You may just have to grab one when they are back in stock and then go with a Wudtone finish.
The colours are amazing and as many here on the forum will tell you, it is so easy to use and makes the grain leap right out at ya!

That's a really nice Firebird (copy) Dave, well done. Glad you found our videos useful... you certainly got better results than I did (but I did rush everything).
