Old, retired, learning to play one, now building them

New guy here. In the US and this all Started as an interest in a cigar box guitar which in reality meant to learn how to just play, 3 strings did not mean easier. Builds in progress now, Fret Wire’s viola bass kit and a Pit Bull TB-4(thunderbird bass). So far love the dying of the woods and the colors that are possible.

    Welcome to the "mad house".
You are proving that it's never too late for an "old dog" to learn new tricks.
Have fun with your latest hobby, and don't forget they are YOUR instruments, built to suit YOU (both visually and how they play).

    Hi and welcome Johnnyba,
I build a TB-4 kit last year. It is a fun kit and is a nice guitar - though a bit neck heavy and nose dives.
    Good luck with your builds.
    PitBull Builds: FVB-4, LP-1SS, FBM-1, AG-2, TB-4, SSCM-1, TLA-1, TL-1TB, STA-1HT, DSCM-1 Truckster, ST-1, STA-1, MBM-1.

Scratch Builds: Pine Explorer, Axe Bass, Mr Scary, Scratchy Tele's.

The little voices in my head keep telling me "build more guitars"
