    GPR-1R bridge and saddle holes

    New member, first question.
There are no pre drilled holes for the bridge and saddle of my guitar. This is different from the image shown on the website , see here: https://www.pitbullguitars.com/shop/...ood-fretboard/
is this normal or should i drill these holes myself?

    Many thanks for any support.

It’s not normal. The first kits of this type came out a few years ago without them and were withdrawn from sale for not having the holes (as well as coming with the wrong wiring harness and non-splittable pickups). If the top was flat, then you could have a reasonable go at doing the holes yourself, but because of the arched top, you either need to
make some complicated jigs so you can drill level, or have a large drill press with a throat big enough to reach across the body. It’s still quite a tricky process to get right.

Email Pitbull with a picture and they’ll probably send you another kit without having to return that one (as it’s pretty useless as it is). But they really should be checking the kits a bit more thoroughly before sending them out.
