Keen to see what you got, I got this one a couple of years ago, it does the job nicely.

It is this VonHaus branded sander

Which is the same unit as a Triton model and a couple of other brands that have stuck their name on the same basic unit, but this was a few £ cheaper.

@Cliff, that looks a nice unit. I don't think I'd use it enough to justify 400+ bucks though.

I just use a $30 sanding drum set in my drill press. I made a little table with a hole in the centre to keep my work square to the drum.
It gets me by, but doesn't finish as neatly as an oscillating one like yours.

edit: And the angled table on yours could be a handy feature.

    The angled table is handy.

That VonHaus one the Simon got is available at Hare & Forbes with a Scheppach badge on it for $275 AUD.

The Scheppach version is currently £10 more on Amazon UK.

It's probably going to be larger than I expected, so storing it will be another issue to deal with!

Ya see... this is the whole knock-on effect I mentioned in your Hexacaster thread... before you know it, you're putting an extension on the house!

Not on the house, just the shed/workshop
