I’m thinking about dipping my toe into a semi scratch build. Basically routing out a body shape and attaching a pre-made neck.

I can see that most of the F-style necks are sold out on the webpage. I am considering buying a G-style neck either bolt on or glue in.

With these what is the neck pocket depth that needs to be routed? And is it any harder or easier to do than the typical F-style bolt on?
