Stellar work bro. Anything prior or after the DT wax on the maple board, or is that it? I've only used it on rosewood boards myself. Used TruOil on the whole neck including maple board for the TeleMaster and that is still holding up great.

Hi BD. Just sanding up the grades on the fret board and edges from 240, 400 to 1200 grit. Then I get a tiny ball of dingo wax, heat it up in my fingers to make a paste, wipe on a cloth then apply to the fret board. Buff after 10 mins.

You can always wet sand now, if that helps. I always think that sanding would help the curing process and you give the finish as much larger surface area for the remaining solvents to escape from. It's just the final polish where you have to wait for a full cure as you need the surface as hard as possible.

Ouch!! My guitar body had an unfortunate "lancing accident" whilst hanging up.
