    Custom Bass Build

    I'm back!!
    Sorry I've been MIA for quite some time. I had a bubba almost 9 months, and now about to start a custom Bass from scratch! I got myself a nice lump of something hard... Not exactly sure what it is, thinking some local Ironbark.
    I have done a custom design and have started gathering parts online (keen for my Entwistle Neodymium pickup!)
    I will likely do another Vlog (I will try my hardest not to lose 2/3 of my footage this time!!)
    Keen to get this started, just first gotta get the timber ripped and run through the thicknesser
    After my bass, I will also be building my husband a 'tele' from the same stuff!

    Well the neck arrived yesterday. I've done up the headstock design, will probably shape it over the weekend. The curve at tip of the headstock has been taken directly from my SG, just on more of an angle. I think I will keep it as my signature curve/shape for all my builds here on out (except the husband's tele haha)

    Hopefully getting the timber dressed next Thursday, then I can start on the body so keen!

    I can picture a tele with that curve on just the lower side of the headstock. It would be better than the standard tele shape which I have never really liked that much.

    Yeah I agree! I'm not a fan of fenders much at all... But the husband wants the standard tele haha
