Ooooff... that happened to me a couple times on my Uncle Milty build. Instead of pulling the remnants out I used a nail punch to drive them down far enough to get new screws in. You'll just have to be careful putting the new screw into the filler as it might crumble if you over-tighten.

It should be okay though as it is still hidden under the bridge. In reality, I didn't have to fill it at all, but I just couldn't bare knowing it was there. LOL
This thing was already well into the timber and pushing it further would mean coming out the other side.
    Anyways, lesson learnt.

Hope you get it done. It's a nice looking build. Hadn't seen it before. Absolutely love the colour.

I'm also coming back to a build which had stalled for months

Thanks mate. I basically have to just solder the pickups and jack, mount the bridge and string it up. The hard part is installing the ferules. I really need to borrow a drill press. I am really close.

@Christodav : Your colour etc. on this JTL has convinced me,... I need one too , awesome looking!

P.s. does this type have the same setup (pick up and switch wise) as a strat? thanks

Good question. i have upgraded to Iron Gear pickups. It's a T set with an S style middle. I then really splashed out big time and ordered the electronics from 920D Custom (12 months ago or so now when the $ was better) in the States. I got a James Burton set-up with the S1 switch and a 5-way. It's more T than S but you get the middle pickup on its own and some series and parallel settings in there as well. Don't ask me how it sounds as I don't know yet, but I am getting excited about it.

    Did I miss it?
I went looking to see what you used to get the blue colour & canít see it.
    What brand?
Is it a wipe / brush on or a spray?
